X Control is a Safari and Chrome browser extension that hides the "For You" tab on X (formerly Twitter) and defaults to the Following timeline.
X Control does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The extension operates entirely on your device.
The extension stores a single preference (enabled/disabled) locally in your browser using the browser's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your device.
X Control does not use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
The extension requires access to x.com and twitter.com solely to hide the For You tab and switch to the Following tab. It does not read, collect, or transmit any page content or browsing data.
